Happy New Year 2013? limited edition elite bunny

Hello, Ozimals friends!

We are still here--and hope you are too--at the start of this new world. While New Year's Eve is still a few days off, according to the Maya a new cycle of time has already begun, so it's sensible to celebrate early, right?

To this end, we are happy to announce the Happy New Year 2013? elite bunny. This Mayan-themed limited-edition bunny will only be available directly from Ozimals, and only from today through January 2nd, 2013.

Each pack contains a nest which will produce this bunny, drawing from the version 2.1 gene pool, with unlocked ears and any of the following shades: Classic, Silky, Radiant, Iris, Acorn, Sunlight, Moonlight, Evergreen. The bunny's gender is random. The pack also contains one 10-use nest dye and one Standard Level 2 bunny food.

The Happy New Year 2013? elite bunny is available on Marketplace, from the Ozimals main store, or from the Ozimals satellite shop at Shamrock Market.

Thank you very much to all of you for your support, feedback, and enthusiasm over the past year. Enjoy the rest of the holiday season, and we will see you in 2013.

The Ozimals Long Count Nest Accelerator and You

Hello, Ozimals friends!

It seems that the power of the Mayan calendar reaches even into Oz. Perhaps there is an asteroid hurtling towards us that has altered time as we know it; perhaps there is the spirit of an ancient Mayan priest giggling and making weird raptor noises at our unhappiness. Either way, the 2.1 bunny update accidentally reverted nest kindling time to 60 minutes... like the calendar itself, a Long Count.

Nobody wants another immediate update, least of all us, and as a show of confidence in the existence of Oz and Earth after December 21st, we are releasing a treat for you instead! Available from the Ozimals main store, the Ozimals Long Count Nest Accelerator will speed up your bunnies' nests' kindling timers for INSTANT KINDLING.

The Ozimals Long Count Nest Accelerator:
* is FREE
* is COPIABLE
* includes an unscripted decorative version
* can only be used through January 14th, 2013, when all threat of apocalypse will have passed.

To use the Accelerator, begin the kindling process, and then rez the Accelerator atop the nest. A menu will pop up for you, similar to the way that nest dyes work.

Thanks so much to the Ozimals community for being patient today! Happy kindling!

Ozimals Bunny Update v2.1!

Hello, Ozimals friends!

Please read this ENTIRE post carefully BEFORE you begin updating!

/-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-   Patch Notes 2.1-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-\

Additions:
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

>>New Genetic Traits!
>>Winter and Happy New Year Elites!
>>Yuletide holiday elite pair pack!
>>New Bunnybury reward bunny!
>>Direct Delivery!
>>Retired Traits!

**New Genetic Traits!

We've added new genes to the Ozimals pool; they are available through version 2.1 starter packs on Marketplace, from the Ozimals main store, or from the Ozimals satellite shop at Shamrock Market. As always, new version starter bunnies have the *chance* of carrying the new genes.
Please note that the lower-cost nests in the Bunnybury vendors ("Random Bunny Nest" and "Bunny Nest With Increased Chance of Recessives") will be switched to version 2.1 on the 26th of Dec 2012 (if we make it past the 21st!). This means that if you buy those nests from the vendor before that date, they will be 2.0 nests and will not have the new genetic traits.

**Winter and Happy New Year Elites!

Any nest created by your updated bunnies and kindled between 12:01 am SLT on Tuesday, December 18th and 9:00 am SLT on Wednesday, January 2nd can potentially produce a holiday elite, regardless of breeding. The nest MUST be both created and kindled during that period.
Don't forget! If you would like to bypass your chance at a holiday elite, you are given an option to choose "No Elite" in the kindling menu, and you may simply confirm that you don't want that nest to have a chance at a holiday elite.

**Limited-edition Yuletide pair pack!

There is a limited edition Yuletide pair pack available through January 2 on Marketplace, from the Ozimals main store, or from the Ozimals satellite shop at Shamrock Market. This pack contains a pair of Yuletide holiday elite bunnies, Eve and Midwinter (different from the ones available through breeding), two ten-use nest dyes, a special limited edition Level 2 Standard wearable food, and a trio of decorative wearable candy canes.

**New Bunnybury reward bunny!

The previous Bunnybury Exclusive Rare Bunny Nest (Magic of Oz - Wicked Witch/Valentina) has been removed from the Bunnybury vendors and replaced with a NEW bunny with exclusive traits! Like the previous bunny, the new Bunnybury bunny can pass these traits to its offspring, but they will not be available from any other source.

**Direct Delivery!

All items purchased from the Ozimals Marketplace shop are now Direct Delivery, which means less unpacking for you--and that they will show up in your inventory in your Received Items folder.

**Retired traits!

It is important to understand what "retirement" means for bunny traits. If a trait is retired, it is no longer available from starter nests (nests bought from Ozimals directly). Bunnies that already exist on the grid who have these traits will still have them, and will still be able to pass them to their offspring. This means that if you want to add the traits to your warren of bunnies, you will need to buy from or trade with another bunny owner to get them. To see what was retired before this update, please see the list in the 1.11 Update blog post.

As of *this* update, the following are also retired:
---Furs: North - Silver Slipper, East - Poppy Orange, Rhinelander Lilac, Rhinelander Blue, East - Gillikin Purple, East - Emerald City, East - Winkie Yellow, Rhinelander - Red, Rhinelander - Black, West - Wicked Witch
---Eyes: Schadenfreude, Sinister, Ash, Hydrangea, Valentina
---Shade: Aphotic

****************IMPORTANT NOTES****************

1. THE UPDATE PROCESS WILL:
REQUIRE 22 PRIMS FREE ON LAND
    BREAK BONDS
    RESET PRICING AND
    RESET HOME POSITION!

Please check that you restore bonds, reset home near food and reprice if you had bunnies set for sale. This is a non-mandatory update, which means that your bunnies will not stop eating immediately if not updated, but to have a chance at breeding winter elites, or to breed with updated bunnies, your bunnies MUST be updated to v2.1.

2.  Due to a safeguard put in to make the update process smoother and faster, when your bunnies have been updated they MAY appear "chubby".  Don't panic! Simply  re-rez them and they will pop back to normal with no problem.

3.  If your update totem gets stuck on a bunny (after 5 minutes, it hasn't completed)  please TAKE THE CRATE into your inventory and delete the white bunny underneath.  Copy the crate prim description number.  File a support ticket ( http://support.ozimals.com ) and include that crate number for a replacement bunny.  Do not delete the crate until you receive your replacement bunny.

Once you pick up the crate and delete the white bunny, your update totem should move on to the next bunny in range.

If you need a location to update your bunnies, Ozimals Orientation islands have a sandbox type update area where you can rez your bunnies in a quiet area and chat with other bunny peeps while you do it! (Updating bunnies only here, please don't build!)  SLURLs below:

Ozimals Orientation 2 Update Fields
Ozimals Orientation 3 Update Fields
Ozimals Orientation 4 Update Fields

*****BUNNY FOOD, THE UPDATE, AND YOU!*****

The food does NOT get updated itself, it only communicates to you the need to update your bunnies.   PLEASE NOTE!! You do NOT need to buy new food and water!  Once you update your bunnies, they will eat any version of food just fine.

FOLLOW THESE DIRECTIONS  FOR A SMOOTH UPDATE PROCESS!

Preparing to Update:

1. Get the updater, which is available on Marketplace, from the Ozimals main store, or from the Ozimals satellite shop at Shamrock Market.

2. Prepare your update area:

A.  Designate an "update area" someplace on the land you own.

B.  Rez your updater at the center of the update area.

C.  Pick up ALL third party scripted products (monitors, dispensers, servers, rings, etc.) and any other heavily scripted items in the area. These items can slow down or even prevent the update process from beginning or completing correctly. This is VERY IMPORTANT.

3. Update your bunnies:

    A.  Turn bunny movement off. Take a moment to record the bunny's ID if you do not already have it recorded.

    B.  Pick up your bunnies one at a time (do NOT pick up in a group!)

    C.  Rez up to 10 bunnies in your update area. The updater affects bunnies within a 9m radius (18 m circle with totem in center)

    D.  There will be a 30 second delay before the updater begins, (or longer for homesteads)  please be patient! :)

    E.  The bunnies will update one by one. A crate will appear over them and the process will be shown in hovertext above the box.

    F.  When all updates are completed, remove the updated bunnies from the update area, and put down the  next 10 un-updated bunnies.

    G.  Continue this process until your entire warren is updated.

    H.  After the update is completed,  RE-REZ ALL OF YOUR FOOD so that it will detect that the bunnies have been updated. If you use any dispenser or server system, you need to remove the food from those systems and re-rez it.

Ozimals Bunny Update 2.1!

Hello, Ozimals friends!

This coming Tuesday, December 18th, will bring the next update for the bunnies. Version 2.1 will include a sleighful of new genetic traits, and will enable your bunnies to produce holiday elites during the upcoming elite bunny kindling period. Much more information will be in the release notes on Tuesday, so be sure to check the blog and the group notices that day!

When the update is released, the bunny packs available from Ozimals will be updated to contain version 2.1 starter bunnies. Among those packs will be a very festive new limited edition pair pack of holiday elites; we'll have images and more information about these special bunnies in Tuesday's release notice. This limited-time pack will be available until our holiday celebrations end on January 2nd.

There are several holiday elites available via an elite bunny kindling period this year, too! It begins when the update is released on Tuesday, and continues through 9:00 am SLT on Wednesday, January 2nd. To have the chance of producing an elite during this time, your bunnies must be updated to version 2.1, and the nest must be both created and kindled during this period--for more information about how holiday elite periods work, please see our wiki.

The Bunnybury vendor's exclusive bunny will also be changed to a new bunny when the update is released, with breedable fur and eye traits available nowhere else!

Wintertide Bunny Gacha!

Hello, Ozimals friends!

Glinda and Locasta, the Good Witches, sat one afternoon, admiring a snowy field full of Comfort and Joy bunnies, all hopping happily amidst the drifts and making little bunny snow angels. A team of Comfort bunnies was building a fantastic snow fort, while a number of Joy bunnies were creating an arsenal of snowballs, and the two Witches knew there would soon be a mighty snow battle.

"They are such dear little bunnies," remarked Locasta. "It's almost a shame we were limited to two colors."

Glinda smiled, and gazed at the enormous decorated tree in the center of the Emerald City, far off past the field of bunnies. "Those two colors are special, for Relay For Life, but... imagine them in all of the colors of the ornaments on that tree. Wouldn't that be spectacular?"

Locasta's eyes lit up. "Comfort and Joy are still available for another week at the Expo, until the 19th of December--and of course those two bunnies will not be available elsewhere, but..."

Glinda was already reaching for her wand, and soon, both Witches were zapping the bunnies on the field with swirly waves of magic. The bunnies squealed, because it tickled horribly, but when the two finished, and the magical dust cleared, the bunnies were countless different colors. They hopped around in excited little circles, admiring each other and rolling in the snow.

There are thirteen different colors of the Wintertide elites. Because there are so many of these bunnies, we have decided to put them in a gacha machine. Each try is L$50, and will give you a random gender, random color Wintertide nest, with unlocked ears and shade or a rare chance to give you bunny pet food. (This means that these nests can have any currently available shade or ear type.) The nests are not transferable, but of course the kindled bunnies are, so that you can trade with your friends! You can see all of the possible colors on the Ozimals holiday tree, just outside the door of the Ozimals main store.

There are gacha machines at the Ozimals main store and at the Ozimals satellite shop at Shamrock Market--they will remain until the holidays are over. (These bunnies will not be available on the SL Marketplace.) Best of luck!

Pufflings Mistletoe Pack!

Hello, Ozimals friends!

As the holidays draw closer, everyone in Oz is decorating--their homes, their towns, and especially themselves. The Pufflings are no exception; the Royal Gardens at the palace in the Emerald City are awash in twinkly lights and garlands of ivy and holly and mistletoe, all hung there by industrious little birds. There are not just festive decorations for the Gardens, however--the Pufflings have special holiday outfits, which they all wear on the day of the first winter snow in Oz. It's quite an event in Puffling society; they have elaborate snowfall-watching parties, with huge platters of gingerbread and candy.

To share this tradition with the world outside of Oz, we are announcing the Mistletoe Pack: a pair of Puffling Paragons in their holiday raiment, with two colors of breedable limited-edition eyes guaranteed in each pack, and a limited-edition wearable gingerbread cookie to feed them.

The Mistletoe Pack is available at the Ozimals Pufflings main store, as well as at the Ozimals satellite shop at the Shamrock Market, and from the Pufflings shop on the SL Marketplace, and will be sold through January 2nd, 2013.

Happy Holidays from the Pufflings and from Oz!

Ozimals at the Christmas Expo!

Hello, Ozimals friends!

The next big Ozimals event is participation in the second annual Christmas Expo, to continue our support of Relay For Life of SL. The Christmas Expo will open on December 6th at 9am SLT, and remain open 24 hours each day until it closes on December 19th at 9pm SLT. More information about this event is on their blog!

For this year's Expo, we have two new limited-edition bunnies, Comfort 2012 and Joy 2012. Each bunny costs L$995, 100% of which goes to Relay for Life. Each package contains a random-gender nest with unlocked ears and shades--which means that any currently available ear type or shade can appear on these bunnies--one transferable 10-charge nest dye, and one Level 2 Standard food.

Because of restrictions on RFL vendors, these bunnies will not be available on Marketplace; they are only available at the Expo.

Our shop at the Expo also holds a special gift for the Expo-wide Naughty and Nice giveaway; be sure to ask Santa for one when you visit us!

This Weekend: The First Annual Warren Walk!

Hello, Ozimals friends!

Not all bunnies live in verdant forests, you know. Many of them live in little houses all their own, or sunny meadows, or on tropical beaches straight out of travel magazines, or among clockwork wonders and spare gears in steam-powered submarines, or in majestic Egyptian temple courtyards. It is the same for Pufflings; some live among the fairies in magic woods, while some have luxurious cages that would look at home in the Taj Majal--and some live IN the Taj Mahal--while some play amid igloos and icicles in winter wonderlands.

Ozimals is happy to support the First Annual Warren Walk!

Beginning Friday, December 7th, after the 5 pm SLT Shamrock Market auction (so at approximately 7 pm SLT), and running through Sunday, December 9th at 7 pm SLT, a host of Ozimals breeders, including Malk and Candy, are opening their warrens and flocks to visitors. It's a fun chance to see the homes everyone has created for their pets, their themes and decorations, as well as their prize bunnies and Pufflings--and to hang out and chat with the Ozimals community.

If you are interested in participating with your warren or flock, please send a notecard to Oilell Pinion, including your avatar's name and a landmark to your bunnies or Pufflings; if you would like to participate in the Warren Walk without sharing yours, you do not have to pre-register, just plan to visit Shamrock to begin the tour!

We hope everyone enjoys this chance to see others' pets and their homes, as well as to make new friends in the Oz community.

Magic of Oz sim opens / Strangelings Q&A

Hello, Ozimals friends!

We are happy to announce the return of the Magic of Oz sim, completely rebuilt after mysterious magic whisked it away from its old home next door to Ozimals. This is a very different vision of Oz than before, and we invite you to come explore it beginning at 10 am SLT on Monday morning, November 26th.

Magic of Oz is host to a variety of merchants in Munchkinland, 7 Seas fishing down the hill from the Witch's Castle, and most importantly, in the Emerald City itself, Candy and Malk's new project, Strangelings. To celebrate, we are hosting two Q&A sessions about Strangelings--details about the game, and about the fabulous mesh Strangeling avatar for SL--on the sim on Monday; one at 12 noon SLT, and one at 6 pm SLT, at this meeting spot.

For more information about Strangelings, please join the Strangelings inworld group, or the Strangelings hippogroup (doesn't need a group slot); here are group joiners for both of them.

Strangelings Q & A on Monday!

Hi friends!

We wanted to let you know that we are going to be doing a Q & A for Strangelings on the Magic of Oz sim on Monday November 26th at 12 noon and again at 6 pm SLT.  The sim will open at 10 am SLT on Monday so that you can walk around and preview the all mesh environment before the first  Q & A session.

We will be answering questions about the project, showing off the new Strangelings mesh avatar we've designed as a tie-in for the game, and unveiling the all new re-designed Magic of Oz sim that will be the home of the Strangelings in Second Life.  You won't want to miss this - the biggest news ever to come out of breedables will be announced at this meeting, so be sure to join us!

Watch notices for the SLURL on Sunday, and for those who celebrate it - Have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving and be careful if you venture out for Black Friday...be kind to one another!

2012 Oz Bunny Games Concluding

Hello, Ozimals friends!

Thank you so much for your participation in the 2012 Oz Bunny Games! Today, Monday, November 5th, is the final day to race in the Games--any races run after midnight SLT tonight will no longer count towards the Games totals. The special elite kindling period for bunnies ended last Friday, and the Pufflings' Golden Egg Time introducing "Ink" has also now concluded.

The Bunny Games sim, Gypsy, will remain open until tomorrow evening, so you still have a chance to earn tickets! Those can still be cashed in for Bunnybury coins through Monday, November 12. While you are there, Candy and Malk remind me to remind YOU to check out the Strangelings groups as there will be heaps of news in there shortly.

We hope you have enjoyed the Games! We are excited to announce the winning team and the winners of the Ozimals Dia de los Muertos Flickr contest in the coming days.

Thanks to all of you for your support of Ozimals and the Oz Bunny Games. Keep watching this blog for upcoming Ozimals events, including the Christmas Expo, plans for holiday elites, and much more!

2012 Ozimals Bunny Games: More Info!

Hello, Ozimals friends!

Hopefully all of you chose a team to support before the deadline! As we mentioned in the release notes, each win by one of your bunnies counts towards your chosen team's total Bunny Games score. The supporters of the winning team will each receive a limited edition elite bunny, which will be unavailable elsewhere.

Of course, the racetrack will keep working after the Games have ended, but the last day of racing that will count towards the Games scores is Monday, November 5.

Community members' sign-ups for the four teams came out pretty evenly:

Quadling Questers: 26.1%
Winkie Warriors: 21.2%
Munchkin Marauders: 28.1%
Gillikin Gladiators: 24.6%

Where to get your own Ozimals Bunny Race track:
Ozimals Dia de los Muertos Graveyard
Ozimals Bunny Games
Ozimals Bunny Race on Marketplace (copy version)
Ozimals Bunny Race on Marketplace (no-copy version)

You can race your bunnies on a track owned by you or a friend, or at public/group tracks, like the ones on the Ozimals Bunny Games sim. Extra treats to help you and your bunnies get into the spirit of the race can be won from the other games scattered around the Bunny Games sim, or you can get the 2012 Ozimals Bunny Games Uber Fun Pack from the Bunnybury vendor.

Now, you can check the team standings on Ozaria! Once you have logged in, go to "My Bunnies", and there will be a new "Bunny Games" option in the menu on the left. Clicking it will show you the most recently published stats.

The Bunny Race track's cooldown is 60 seconds between races, but the bunnies themselves can only race once per day. This slight change was made to keep competition fair for the Bunny Games; the fifteen-minute cooldown per bunny will return after the Games have ended.

Happy racing and much <3

Bunny Update 2.0 Begins Today

Hello, Ozimals friends!

Welcome to Bunny Update 2.0! Please read these notes carefully before you begin updating!

Update 2.0 is a non-mandatory update. What this means is that your bunnies will continue to eat if not updated, though each food you have rezzed out will message you once a day to remind you to update. If you are not able to be inworld and updating until later, your bunnies will not go hungry. Until your bunnies are updated, however, you will not be able to use the new features, nor will your bunnies be able to breed with 2.0 bunnies.

Additions:
*2012 Oz Bunny Games
*Bunny Racing
*Hallows' Eve Elites
*30-minute kindling time
*New Natural Elite
*Bunnybury Bunny Games goodies

*2012 Oz Bunny Games

The Oz Bunny Games sim is now open! It will remain open through the conclusion of the Bunny Games on November 5, 2012, and we will be hosting Bunny Bingo and other special events there. While on the sim, you can play games to receive tickets which can be redeemed for Bunnybury coins.

*Bunny Racing

2.0 Bunnies have a new button in their menu--"Games". Their first game is the Bunny Race, which you may purchase in copy or no-copy versions, or play anywhere that a public track has been set up. If you picked a team to cheer before the deadline, every victory by one of your bunnies counts towards that team's Bunny Games totals. Remember, whichever team wins the Bunny Games will award its supporters a special elite, so start racing!

*Hallows' Eve Elites

This year, we are celebrating Hallows' Eve with a holiday timer. What this means is that any bunny may produce a holiday elite, if the nest is created and kindled within the time period for these elites. Unlike "natural elites", the parents' genetic traits and number of generations remaining have no bearing on their chances for these nests; the parent bunnies must simply be updated to 2.0. The nest will not say that it contains an elite; you must kindle to find out! Nests created during this time period will have a special button in their menus which allows you to "turn off" their elite chance before kindling, should you choose to do so.
The timer starts running at 12:01 am SLT on Monday, October 22nd (you may think of it as midnight Sunday night), and stops at 11:59 pm SLT on Friday, November 2nd (midnight Friday night).

In addition to these elites, you may purchase special packs of Hallows' Eve elites from Ozimals. More information about Dulces, Flores, Lumbre, and Sombre is available here!

*30-minute kindling time

Because so many bunnies in Oz have been training so hard for the Bunny Games, they are in better health than ever before--as a result, their nests are kindling faster, producing new babies in a shorter time than before. All nests created by 2.0 bunnies will kindle in 30 minutes, rather than the old 60 minutes!

*New Natural Elite

A new natural elite has been added with this update. Bunnies that have not been updated cannot produce this elite. Additionally, the chance of producing a natural elite has been increased. For more information about natural elites, please see the Ozimals wiki.

*Bunnybury Bunny Games goodies

Newly available from the Bunnybury vendor is a pack of goodies to celebrate the Bunny Games. Each Bunny Games Uber Fun Pack contains transferable Nest Sparkles in all eight team colors, and transferable Bunny Racing Dust in the four main team colors. Racing Dust works the same way the Bunnybury Bunny Treats do: rez one on a bunny and it will have a special effect for one hour, or until it is picked up. Rather than the sparkles and hearts of the standard Treats, however, Racing Dust creates a cloud of brightly colored dust as the bunny thunders down the track (or around your garden)! Since all items in the pack are transferable, you can trade freely with supporters of other teams.

****************IMPORTANT NOTES****************

1. THE UPDATE PROCESS WILL:
REQUIRE 22 PRIMS FREE ON LAND
    BREAK BONDS
    RESET PRICING AND
    RESET HOME POSITION!

Please check that you restore bonds, reset home near food and reprice if you had bunnies set for sale.

*****BUNNY FOOD, THE UPDATE, AND YOU!*****

The food does NOT get updated itself, it only communicates to you the need to update your bunnies.   PLEASE NOTE!! You do NOT need to buy new food!  Once you update your bunnies, they will eat any version of food just fine.

FOLLOW THESE DIRECTIONS  FOR A SMOOTH UPDATE PROCESS!

Preparing to Update:

1. Get the updater. Available on Marketplace (shortly) and these locations:

*Ozimals Main Store

*Ozimals Bunny Games

* Shamrock Market - All Things Ozimals (Official Ozimals Satellite Store)

    H.  After the update is completed,  RE-REZ ALL YOUR FOOD AND WATER so they will detect that the bunnies have been updated. If you use any dispenser or server system, you need to remove the food/water from those systems and rerezz them.

Ozimals Bunny Games Bunny Race!

Here is how to use your new Ozimals Bunny Race track!

To race, ensure that bunnies' movement is turned off, and rez them, roughly in their lanes, in the "Ozimals" section of the track. Start the game by clicking the mushrooms, and then click your bunny. You will notice a new menu button, "Games", in the bunny's main menu--click this, and then click "Race" in the next menu. The racetrack will acknowledge each bunny in chat. Once all four are registered, the race will begin--stand back!

The race track is available in two versions; copy and no-copy. The no-copy version cannot be replaced or redelivered.

Besides the track itself, each box contains optional decorative pieces. The track is packed in the box as "Ozimals Bunny Race", with some optional decorative objects and a coalesced object (which is all of the decorative bits together); once you have rezzed it, if you would like to remove pieces to save prims, you can just pick up anything not linked to the race track. Also included is an optional racing HUD. This HUD allows you to keep the race from making all of its announcements to local chat; instead, it will only speak to HUD wearers. We have included a box that anyone can click to receive their own copy of the HUD.

Track must be rezzed straight to compass points - running east/west or north/south. If you must place two tracks in a row, please rotate one track to ensure that the finish lines are "back to back".

Each bunny has a 15-minute cooldown between races. Each racetrack has a 60-second cooldown between races.

Four bunnies - no more, no less - are needed to race. Please register them one at a time; wait for the race to acknowledge each bunny in chat before the next entrant registers. If all four bunnies are not registered within 60 seconds, the game will time out, and the racetrack's 60-second cooldown will begin.

Every racing bunny's "life processes" are put on hold for five minutes when it begins to race; it will not grow hungrier, or fall asleep, or go into hibernation, or produce a nest, or etc., until those five minutes are up.

Each race track has been imbued with magic before being packed into its box, to prevent cheating by starting one bunny further down the track. The race track knows, and will count, which bunny REALLY won.

Two clicks (as distinct from double-click) on the track itself brings up the  menu for chat and access.

---Chat menu switches between local chat (20m) and chatting to HUD (simwide for HUD wearers).

---Access menu (Owner/Group/Anyone) = This is not who can race, but who can start game, switch local/HUD, etc. Anyone who can rez can race.

One click on the mushrooms brings up the menu to start the race.

---Start Game starts the game. Once you have clicked this, bunnies have 60 seconds to register (so if you are wise, you will rez them out FIRST, then click start, then register them...)

Happy racing!

Bunny Update begins Monday, October 15!

Hello, Ozimals friends!

The bunnies' new update arrives this Monday, October 15, and brings with it all sorts of Hallows' Eve goodness, as well as the Ozimals Bunny Games! Full information about the update and about our upcoming events will come in the release notes on Monday, but it seemed wise to give everyone a heads-up :D

Bunnies will need to be updated to this version both to participate in the Games and to be eligible to have Hallows' Eve elite babies during the elite kindling period. The elite period begins this year on Monday, October 22nd--at midnight SLT, so you can think of it as late Sunday night. If you have not been with us for one of these, they are explained further here , but if you have more questions, please ask a CSR or the bunny community via our inworld groups.

We cannot wait for you to see all of the tricks and treats we have planned!

Pufflings' "Harvest" GET has ended

Hello, Ozimals friends!

The Pufflings' Golden Egg Time introducing the new trait "Harvest" has ended... though careful examination of the Ozimals Flickr pool shows that the festivities are far from over. ;)

New traits get added to the public lists as breeders discover them, so please post those pics to Flickr and add them to the pool!

Additionally, since there have been questions, the nests in the Bunnybury vendor HAVE been updated to the most recent versions.

MORE Special Starter Packs at Shamrock Market

The preparations for the Bunny Games absorbed the whole of the Land of Oz, but nowhere were they as all-encompassing as in the Emerald City itself. Glinda, the Good Witch of the South, has a magic book, the Great Book of Records, which lets her see absolutely everything that happens in Oz; as a result, though, she can get a little obsessed with details--perhaps you have heard the expression "cannot see the forest for the trees"?

One morning, at the daily meeting where Glinda assigned everyone's tasks for that day, Locasta, the Good Witch of the North and ruler of the Gillikins, sat waiting and listening. The Wicked Witches' accidental transformation of the bunnies at the market had been a huge disruption, but Glinda had a thousand other things to worry about, and as Locasta listened to her go through that day's endless list, she decided it was best not to bring it up. The scrambled genes of the bunnies would be easy enough, Locasta thought to herself, to correct. She was a Good Witch, after all, and therefore used to cleaning up the Wicked Witches' messes.

When the meeting ended, Locasta took to the air, flying over to Shamrock Market in a cloud of magic bubbles. As she slowly drifted to the ground, the bubbles began to pop, showering her surroundings in glitter as she got her bearings. One quick wave of Locasta's wand and some whispered magic words, and the bunny nests were just as they had been before the Wicked Witches' interference. "Why," she thought, "That wasn't much work at all; our good magic is always stronger than their wicked magic, or Glinda and I would spend our every waking moment undoing their schemes."

Locasta was correct, of course: it was only a few moments' work, which is why Glinda hadn't assigned it to anyone else. As Locasta's cloud of bubbles whisked her skyward again, Glinda sat in her study in Ozma's palace. She hadn't had time yet that morning to glance through the Great Book of Records, and never dreamed that Locasta had taken it upon herself to fix the bunnies, when she picked up her wand, spoke the magic words in her clear, musical voice, and corrected them herself.

It would be some time before anyone realized that the efforts of both Good Witches had changed the bunnies yet again, into something different than the Wicked Witches had done, yet different than they had been to begin with.

As of today, new starter bunnies purchased from the Shamrock Market Ozimals store have the chance of carrying previously unseen genetic traits. Nothing has been retired, but new traits have been unlocked. Your bunnies do not need to be updated; these are version 1.11 starter nests.

To make it easier to be sure, the images on their boxes have changed--ONLY the bunny packs that look like the pictures below contain bunnies with the chance of new genetic traits, and until September 24th, these packs will ONLY be available at Shamrock Market. After that date, they will be sold at the Ozimals main store and on the Marketplace.

The nests in the Bunnybury rewards vendor will be updated on October 1st. Before that date they will be current 1.11 nests, and will not have the chance of carrying this new wave of genetic traits.

GET ends / BB vendor nests updated!

Hello, Ozimals friends!

The current Golden Egg Time for Pufflings, introducing Tulip, Snow-Tipped Tulip, and Ink-Tipped Tulip, has now ended.

The new genetic traits recently added to the bunny packs for sale--discussed in our previous blog posts--have now been added to the nests available from the Bunnybury vendors. This means that the following three items have updated genetics:

Bunnybury: Random Bunny Nest
Bunnybury: Nest With Increased Chance of Recessives
Bunnybury: Exclusive Rare Bunny Nest

The Bunnybury Exclusive Bunny's visible genetic traits have not changed, but its hidden traits have been updated to the new set.

Some of the new genetic traits have already appeared on the Ozimals Flickr stream--please remember that they are not added to the published traits list until they have been discovered, and thanks to all of you for your great photos!

These packs--pet packs, pair packs, and warren packs--have new graphics on the box, so you can be sure you are buying an updated pack. Your bunnies do not need an update; these are version 1.11, but the nests in the new packs have the chance of carrying the new genetic traits.

Remember, the nests in the Bunnybury rewards vendor will be updated on July 27th. Before that date they will be original 1.11 nests, and will not have the chance of carrying this new wave of genetic traits.

Special Starter Packs at Shamrock Market!

Hello, Ozimals friends!

From the far end of Shamrock Market, it might've looked like a low-lying fireworks display, but for anyone within earshot, there was no mistaking it: the Wicked Witches were fighting. Zilonia, the Witch of the West, had been outbid, it seemed, in the final seconds of an auction. When she discovered that the winning bid had come from none other than her sister, Valentina, the Witch of the East, there was no end to her fury. Valentina, for her part, taunted her, insisting that Zilonia "obviously hadn't wanted the bunny badly enough," and soon the two came to blows.

When witches fight, they fight with magic, and when Wicked Witches fight, they transform one another into the least wicked things they can think of, trying to prove which witch is wickedest. The auction area was awash in the sparkling swirls of the Wicked Witches' magic, and they screeched as they magicked each other into uncomfortable shapes: a butterfly, a cupcake, a daisy, a dove.

The two witches were so engrossed in trying to best each other that they paid no attention to the stray spells that missed their marks, but once the two had gone home to sulk--Zilonia as a small pink lamb, Valentina as a potted sweet pea--the market staff noticed that the bunny packs in the Ozimals shop had changed. The boxes looked different, with traces of magic vapors still rising from the spots where the enchantments had hit them. The bunnies inside were perfectly all right--they'd slept in their cozy nests through the whole argument--but they were subtly different than they had been before...

As of today, new starter bunnies purchased from the Shamrock Market Ozimals store have the chance of carrying previously unseen genetic traits. Nothing has been retired, but new traits have been unlocked. Your bunnies do not need to be updated; these are version 1.11 starter nests.

To make it easier to be sure, the images on their boxes have changed--ONLY the bunny packs that look like the pictures below contain bunnies with the chance of new genetic traits, and until July 20th, these packs will ONLY be available at Shamrock Market. After that date, they will be sold at the Ozimals main store, the Ozimals satellite shop, and on the Marketplace.

The nests in the Bunnybury rewards vendor will be updated on July 27th. Before that date they will be current 1.11 nests, and will not have the chance of carrying this new wave of genetic traits.

Magic of Oz gets remodeled!

Hello, Ozimals friends!

What you and I think of as natural behavior of land masses isn't always how things work in the Land of Oz: peculiar winds can sweep down from the sky, there, and rearrange islands, rivers, and continents, bringing new and delightful magic to the places they touch. Sometimes these mysterious winds move things so far that when the sun rises on the altered landscape, it is alive with strange creatures unfamiliar to the rest of Oz...

On July 9th, one of those winds will scour Ozimals' neighbouring sim, Magic of Oz, blowing it far across the ocean, where its inhabitants will work with the Good Witches to build a new Magic of Oz, with a wealth of unique things to see and do!

What does this mean for you? Well, your last chance to see the current Magic of Oz--to pose with the Flying Monkeys, explore the Witch's Castle, stroll the pleasant streets of Munchkinland, creep through the swamp, be dazzled by the splendor of the Emerald City, and wander the Yellow Brick Road, is July 8th. After that date, Magic of Oz will be whisked off to parts unknown, and closed to the public until its remodeling is complete.

GET ends / 2012 Oz Bunny Games approach!

Hello, Ozimals friends!

The most recent round of Golden Egg Time for Pufflings, introducing the Spikes crest, has now ended. Pufflings who have this trait can pass it to their offspring, but it will not be available otherwise.

As the land of Oz continues preparation for the 2012 Oz Bunny Games, new bunny furs and eyes continue to appear in the Ozimals flickr group. Thank you so much for posting your photos! We also welcome images of things you have made to support the Games teams--for more information about how to do this, and to get your own copies of the team logos, please see our earlier post--more information about the Bunny Games Market will be coming soon.

Ozimals Q&A @ SL Breedables Fair tomorrow

Hello, Ozimals friends!

We hope you are enjoying the SL Breedables Fair at the Home & Garden Expo. In our earlier post about it, we talked about the Question & Answer session we will be involved in at the Fair.

The Q&A event is Thursday, May 24th--that's tomorrow!--at 7:00 pm SLT, at the Ozimals section of the Fair, and we'd love to see you there! Whether you are new to Ozimals or have been with us since the beginning, this is a great opportunity to come hang out with other Oz friends and fans, get those burning questions answered, and see everything at the Fair!

Remember, the Wonderland 2012 elite bunny pack and the Callooh 2012 Paragon Puffling pack will only be available at the SL Breedables Fair. Please see our earlier post for more information about these limited-edition pets, 100% of the sales of which are donated to Relay For Life.

Today, Wednesday, May 23rd, is the final day to purchase Ancient Everlasting Timepieces for Ozimals bunnies, to turn them into pets who no longer breed, eat, or hibernate. These are special lower-priced Timepieces that only work on bunnies who are at least 550 days old; the regular Everlasting Timepieces will still be available after today, but the Ancient ones will not. For more information about what Everlasting Timepieces do, please see the blog post about them.

See you tomorrow!

Ozimals @ SL Breedables Fair!

Ozimals is proud to continue its support of Relay For Life by participating in the SL Breedables Fair at the Home & Garden Expo. This event opens at 6:00 am SLT on Saturday, May 19, and runs through May 28. You can read much more about it at the SL Breedables Central blog. Once the fair is open, you can teleport to the Ozimals area directly via this link.

The SL Breedables Fair will feature Q&A sessions with creators of several breedables, and we're excited to invite you to attend ours, which will be Thursday, May 24, at 7:00 pm SLT. We'll post with more specific information and a landmark when it's a little closer, but mark your calendars!

Ozimals has created a bunny especially for this event: the Wonderland 2012 elite! Each pack costs L$995, 100% of which goes to RFL, and contains:

One Wonderland 2012 elite bunny nest, which will produce a random-gender bunny with this elite "costume". It can have any currently available ears, and any currently available shade except Dusky, Aphotic, or Twilight. The Wonderland 2012 elite is exclusive to this event, and will not be available on Marketplace or in our inworld shops.

One 30-day Level 2 Standard Wearable Food. Like all of our wearable foods, this food will feed a worn bunny who is set to L2 nutrition. This one, though, is in the shape of an awareness ribbon--it attaches to "chest" by default--so that you can show your support for RFL and feed your bunny at the same time! Once the food is used up, it will become a collectible and may still be worn.

One Wonderland 2012 ten-charge nest dye, which you may use to pattern any ten bunny nests after the design of the Wonderland 2012 nests.

There is a special Puffling, too! The Callooh 2012 Paragon pack costs L$995, all of which is donated to RFL, and contains:

One Callooh 2012 Paragon Puffling egg, which will produce a random-gender Puffling with this Paragon "costume". The Callooh 2012's eye, Callay, is a breedable trait, available only from this Paragon, and can be passed to its offspring. Each Callooh 2012 Paragon is guaranteed to have this eye. The Callooh 2012 Paragon is exclusive to this event, and will not be available on Marketplace or in our inworld shops.

One 30-day Level 2 Standard Wearable Food. Like all of our wearable foods, this food will feed a worn Puffling who is set to L2 nutrition. This one, though, is in the shape of an awareness ribbon--it attaches to "chest" by default--so that you can show your support for RFL and feed your Puffling at the same time! Once the food is used up, it will become a collectible and may still be worn.

Some other things to note:

Ancient Everlasting Timepieces, the Timepieces for bunnies who are 550 days old or older, will only be on sale for a few more days. Their last day is Wednesday, May 23--after that, the standard Everlasting Timepieces will remain, but the special Ancient Everlasting Timepieces will not be sold any longer.

Chapter V and Chapter VI of Hazel and the Bunny Games in Oz have been posted to the Ozimals forums. In them, Hazel and Jellia explore Quadling Country and visit Bunnybury, learning more about the origins of the Oz Bunny Games. If you would like to start at the beginning, please see Chapter I.

Thank you, everyone who has posted pictures of your bunnies and Pufflings to the Ozimals flickr group! Please keep them coming!

Region Idling on BlueSteel servers

Hello, Ozimals friends!

Tomorrow morning, Wednesday, May 16, beginning at 8:30 am SLT, sims running BlueSteel RC will roll to a new version of their server code. If you have bunnies or Pufflings on one of these sims, please read this post very carefully.

If you are not sure of your sim's server version, use the menus in your viewer to check it: Help > About Second Life (or "About Firestorm", or etc). This will pull up a page of information including lines that look like this:

You are at [Coordinates] in [Your sim name] located at sim0000.agni.lindenlab.com
Second Life Server 12.04.30.255166

If instead of "Second Life Server", the second line reads: "Second Life RC BlueSteel [Version number]", your sim is a BlueSteel sim.

Tomorrow's update will include a new feature, Region Idling, currently being put into place ONLY on BlueSteel regions. We just learned that this will be happening tomorrow, and unfortunately the information Linden Lab has provided about Region Idling does not give us enough data to be sure that our products will not be affected. We are looking into it further, of course, but wanted to give you a heads-up, so that you are aware of what is happening.

Essentially, Region Idling is intended to lessen a sim's impact on the Second Life servers if no avatars are present. The information LL has provided is not very specific at all about just *how* idling will affect scripts, and how quickly. If you notice anything strange about the behavior of your Ozimals pets, and you are on a BlueSteel server, please mention this when you contact us, and please contact us ASAP, with as much information as possible.

Here is the information LL has given Residents about Region Idling: Region Idling FAQ and Region Idling Discussion thread.

Please remember that up-to-date information about server software updates and grid problems can be accessed through the Second Life Grid Status page.

Bunny Genetic Trait Percentage Chart

Hello, Ozimals friends!

Many of you who like using the Pufflings' trait percentage chart on the Ozimals wiki have wondered why we do not have the same information available for the bunnies. As of today, there is a Bunny Trait Percentage chart available for owners to use!

This chart shows what percentage of the bunnies currently active inworld show a given trait. Just like on the Pufflings chart, these percentages will change as new bunnies are kindled, so this is NOT any sort of overall "rarity" chart. It is simply a snapshot of the balance of traits at the moment it was updated.

Currently, the chart is listing the traits that have been posted by proud owners in the Ozimals flickr group. As of right now, these are NOT all of the available traits, but as we do not want to spoil the surprises for anyone, no genetic trait will be listed in the chart until it has been shown off by someone who has found it.

The Bunny Trait Percentage chart will be updated around once a week, with the date of the last update listed on the wiki. Please visit the wiki to access the Bunny Trait Percentage chart!

2012 Oz Bunny Games Team Logos / new genetics appearing!

Hello, Ozimals friends!
If you attended our last Ozimals Community Meeting, or have read the meeting notes, you'll remember that we talked about our plans to make the logos for the four teams participating in the 2012 Oz Bunny Games available for you to use. To support the teams, you may use these logos within Second Life to create shirts or banners or face paint or bumper stickers or badges or almost anything else you can think of. In creating items, please adhere to the LL guidelines for "General" Maturity, which state:

Starting in June, you will be able to sell, trade, or give away your items on the sim where the Games will be held, though you may choose to make them available elsewhere earlier.

You may download the team logos here. This is a .zip archive holding all four logos in several formats:  .ai, .eps, .psd, and .tga.

The first new genetics from the 1.11 update have begun to appear! There are an increasing number of photos of the new furs and eyes, celebrating the Bunny Games, in the Ozimals flickr group; if you haven't seen them yet, be sure to take a look!

Bunny L3 Archetype Food is proud to sponsor the 2012 Oz Bunny Games

Hello, Ozimals friends!

This blog post is brought to you through the generous sponsorship of Level 3 Archetype Bunny Food. Archetype food boosts Energy and Love with every bite, and helps bunnies be the best they can at everything! If fed from babyhood, it also doubles the chances that eligible bunnies will produce natural Elites, and allows bunnies to becomes Sages, then Matriarchs and Patriarchs, rather than Elders, once they are finished breeding. Archetype food is also a primary sponsor of the 2012 Oz Bunny Games, and to celebrate the Games, the duration of Archetype food has been extended.

Previously, one Archetype food fed one bunny for ten days. As of today, it has been increased to match our other foods, lasting thirty days for one bunny. The price has not increased, though, so this is a 200% increase in food for the same price. Archetype food is available from the Ozimals main store, the Ozimals Satellite Store, Shamrock Market, and the Ozimals Bunny shop on the Marketplace.

Two more chapters of Hazel & the Bunny Games in Oz, a story explaining and describing the Oz Bunny Games, have been posted on the Ozimals forums: Chapter III and Chapter IV. If you would like to start from the beginning, please see Chapter I.

Starting today, you can pick a team to support in the 2012 Oz Bunny Games! The Games will be held at midsummer, and each supporter of the team that wins will receive a special elite bunny. There is more information about this in the notes from the last Ozimals Community Meeting; if you were not there or have not read them, you can do so on the Ozimals forums. You may pick a team, or change your allegiance to a different team, until the Games begin in July.

The four teams are:
 Gillikin Gladiators
Munchkin Marauders
Winkie Warriors
Quadling Questers

To pick a team, log in to Ozaria. If you are not registered for Ozaria, it's free to use and easy to sign up; you can learn about it on the Ozimals wiki.

Once you are logged in, you will need to Edit your profile, which you can do from the menu in the top right corner, underneath your name.

On the "Edit Profile" screen, you will see a new dropdown menu called "Choose Team".

Use this to make your choice, then scroll down to the bottom of the page and hit the "Update" button. If you do not do this step, your choice will not be saved.

Now, when someone looks at your profile, they'll see the logo of your team beneath your picture!

Again, you can make a choice, or change your choice, at any time until one week before the Games begin, in July.

Pufflings Update 1.1

Hello, Ozimals friends!

Welcome to Pufflings Update 1.1! Please read all of this information carefully before you begin updating!

Update 1.1 is a non-mandatory update. What this means is that your Pufflings will continue to eat if not updated, though each food you have rezzed out will message you once a day to remind you to update. If you are not able to be inworld and updating until later, your Pufflings will not go hungry. Until your Pufflings are updated, however, you will not be able to use the new features, nor will your Pufflings be able to breed with 1.1 Pufflings.

Additions:
*Rebake
*Marvels
*Pose
*Games
*Gem Garden

*** 1. Rebake: There is a new button called Rebake in the menu. If lag sticks your 1.1 Puffling in a distorted position, or if there are sizing problems as he or she grows, "Rebake" can correct this. This will save you having to file a ticket and send your Puffling in to us.

*** 2. Marvels: A Marvel is a Puffling who has a body part colored differently than his or her genetics dictate. This variation can show on ANY body part, and is random: the new color is not necessarily something that Puffling could otherwise pass on, but could instead be anything. Marvels are produced from eggs created by two 1.1 parents who have reached 100% Personality. The egg hovertext will not say that the Puffling inside is a Marvel; you must hatch it to see. Any pair of 1.1 Pufflings who both have 100% Personality have the chance of producing a Marvel from any egg they create together.

*** 3. Pose: Personality also works towards one of our other new features, the Pose menu. This button will not appear until the 1.1 Puffling has reached 50% Personality. If the Puffling falls below 50% Personality, though, the button will vanish until he returns to 50% or higher. Once the button is in your Puffling’s menu, you can use it to access a menu of still poses for your Puffling. These are not avatar poses, like the ones you can use when you hold them, but poses for the Pufflings themselves.

*** 4. Games: The biggest addition in Pufflings 1.1, though, is the Games menu. You’ll see the button in the menu. There are three games available to you--Early Bird, I Spy..., and Gem Garden-- and each 1.1 Puffling may play all three once every day, gaining Personality from each one. The Puffling day begins at midnight SLT. If you have set a co-owner on your Puffling, the co-owner may play games with the Puffling, so long as whoever begins the game, the owner or the co-owner, is the one who finishes the game. As you or your Puffling’s co-owner play each game, it will disappear from that Puffling’s menu until the next day. For more information about how to play the games, please see the Pufflings wiki.

*** 5. Gem Garden: To play the game "Gem Garden", you will need access to a Gem Garden. This item can be purchased from the Ozimals Pufflings main store or from the Ozimals Pufflings shop on Marketplace. The Gem Garden is a pretty little garden with a comfortable log under a shady tree, with flowers imported from Oz growing within it. Gem Gardens are 21 prims, and can be set to allow use by Owner, Group, or Everyone. Each Puffling may of course only play the game once per day, but there is no limit to the number of Gem Gardens an avatar may own.
Originally, the cooldown on the Gem Garden was one hour, as mentioned at the meeting, but since the meeting we have carefully considered this, and have changed it to 15 minutes. What this means is that once your Puffling has completed a Gem Garden game, the Garden itself will be ready to use again in fifteen minutes.

****************IMPORTANT NOTES****************

    THE UPDATE PROCESS WILL:
REQUIRE 20 PRIMS FREE ON LAND
    RESET PRICING AND
    RESET HOME POSITION!

Please check that you reset home near food and reprice if you had Pufflings set for sale.

The Pufflings updater does not rez anything except the newly updated Puffling. When the updater is running, don’t be alarmed when your 1.0 Pufflings disappear--it will rez 1.1s in their places.

The updater is very fast, and has been tested in many different environments. Still, if you have any problems with the update, please file a ticket with the names and if possible the IDs of any Pufflings affected. If you do not have a record of their ID keys, you can look them up on Ozaria to get that information. This is one of the reasons it is a good idea to name your Pufflings; it is MUCH easier to find a specific Puffling in your list who is named "Engelbert" than one who is named "Ozimals Puffling", like the rest!

Make sure your Pufflings are named before you update, and that you have access to their ID keys, and any problems you could possibly encounter are much easier to resolve. A Puffling's "key" is the ID number shown in local chat stats. You can also extricate it from the description line of the Puffling, visible when you edit the Puffling, or see it in that Puffling's listing on Ozaria. If you haven’t registered for Ozaria yet, it is free and very useful, and you can get a registration code from the Ozaria signs in the Ozimals shops.

If you need a location to update your Pufflings, Ozimals Orientation islands have a sandbox type update area where you can rez your Pufflings in a quiet area and chat with other Ozimals peeps while you do it! (Updating only here, please don't build!)  SLURLs below:

*****PUFFLING FOOD, THE UPDATE, AND YOU!*****

The food does NOT get updated itself, it only communicates to you the need to update your Pufflings. PLEASE NOTE!! You do NOT need to buy new food!

FOLLOW THESE DIRECTIONS  FOR A SMOOTH UPDATE PROCESS!

Preparing to Update:

1. Get the updater. Available on Marketplace and these locations:

Ozimals Main Store
Ozimals Satellite Store (PG Location)
Ozimals Pufflings Main Store
Magic of Oz
Lawst Paradise
Shamrock Market - All Things Ozimals (Official Ozimals Satellite Store)

3. Update your Pufflings:

    A.  Turn Puffling movement off. Take a moment to record the Puffling's ID if you do not already have it recorded.

    B.  Pick up your Pufflings one at a time (do NOT pick up in a group!)

    C.  Rez up to 10 Pufflings in your update area. The updater affects Pufflings within a 9m radius (18 m circle with totem in center)

    D.  There will be a 30 second delay before the updater begins, (or longer for homesteads)  please be patient! :)

    E.  The Pufflings will update one by one.

    F.  When all updates are completed, remove the updated Pufflings from the update area, and put down the  next 10 un-updated Pufflings.

    G.  Continue this process until your entire flock is updated.

    H.  After the update is completed,  there is no need to re-rez your food. \o/
